LABIS is a non-profit, charitable organization which provides programming support, and resource sharing for brain injured persons and their families.

Mission Statement

To provide holistic services to individuals with acquired or progressive brain injury, their families and caregivers in a safe, compassionate environment. We are committed to public education and advocacy that leads to an optimal lifestyle for all.

To serve and promote the optimal lifestyles of persons who have sustained brain injury and that of their families.

Goals

To encourage and assist brain injured individuals and their families to develop a way of living that is personally and socially adequate.

Used Book Store

The LABIS office is also a used bookstore. This perpetual fundraiser has proven to aid both fundraising efforts as well as raising awareness. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. Donations of gently used books are always appreciated. 

LABIS Store Second Chance Clothing

Located at 5732 44 Street, Lloydminster AB, LABIS Store is open from 10am-4pm, Tuesdays-Saturdays. Gently used clothing and volunteers are always welcome. There are drop-off bins located in the alley for after-hours donations. LABIS Store only sells clothing. This a welcome addition to LABIS' fundraising ventures.
